On Friday, Feb. 28, former Dublin High School standout Ethan Liao’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, lost 12-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Mountaineers this season.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Appalachian State Mountaineers.
