Eric Swalwell, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 14th district since 2013, has recently shared several tweets addressing various political topics. Swalwell, who succeeded Pete Stark in his congressional role, has been vocal about his views on current political issues.

On June 17, 2025, Swalwell commented on the reaction from MAGA supporters to his remarks regarding J.D. Vance’s statements about Donald Trump. He stated, “Nothing has upset MAGA more this week than me quoting what @JDVance has called Donald Trump.”

Later that day, he emphasized non-violence and growth within his movement. He wrote, “We are going to get through this. BUT it won’t be because anyone used violence. We don’t need that in our movement. The point is our SIZE. And it’s growing. STAY LOUD ADD FRIENDS WIN.”

On June 18, 2025, Swalwell shared a brief tweet with a link labeled “Trump’s America,” without additional commentary or context. The tweet can be found at this link.

Eric Swalwell was born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and currently resides in Livermore. He holds a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park (2003) and a JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (2006).
