Representative Eric Swalwell, who has served California’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress since 2013, recently addressed several issues on social media. Swalwell, born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and currently residing in Livermore, holds degrees from the University of Maryland and has maintained an active presence on public policy matters.

On July 13, 2025, Swalwell reiterated his ongoing efforts to address violence in the West Bank. He stated, “I have long worked to stop settler violence in the West Bank. This death of a U.S. citizen must be investigated.”

Later that day, Swalwell questioned the actions of two individuals regarding a specific issue. In his post at 01:11 UTC, he wrote, “Why are Kash and Bongino covering this up?”

In a subsequent message posted at 01:28 UTC on July 13, Swalwell commented on political alignment within Congress and referenced investigative powers. He said, “This is called falling in line. I get why Kash covers for Trump. But why do Republicans in Congress, who have subpoena power, go for this? That’s going to change with Speaker @RepJeffries. Preserve your documents fellas.”

Eric Swalwell succeeded Pete Stark as representative of California’s 14th District and has been an advocate for various legislative initiatives since taking office.
