Rep. Eric Swalwell, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 14th district since 2013, recently shared his thoughts on various pressing issues via social media. His posts covered topics ranging from tragic events to expressions of support for political figures.

On May 17, Swalwell noted the occurrence of a bombing near a Palm Springs fertility clinic. He stated, “My team and I are monitoring news of a bombing near a Palm Springs fertility clinic that killed one person and damaged several buildings.” He extended his condolences to those affected, saying, “My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the first responders on the scene.”

The following day, Swalwell offered words of encouragement to President Joe Biden during a challenging period. On May 18, he tweeted “My thoughts and prayers are with Joe Biden and his family as they navigate this challenging time. I am wishing him strength and a swift recovery.”

Eric Swalwell was born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and currently resides in Livermore. He is an alumnus of the University of Maryland where he completed both his undergraduate studies in 2003 and obtained his JD in 2006.
