U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell, who serves California’s 14th district in Congress, posted a series of tweets on August 20 and 21, 2025, addressing topics ranging from party politics to military leadership and sports.
On August 20, Swalwell criticized a fellow lawmaker for public complaints regarding redistricting reforms. In his post he wrote: “Pathetic! Don’t tweet at the Speaker. He’s in your party. Go talk to him!

Later that day, Swalwell commented on the legacy of American military leaders by referencing historical battles and making a pointed remark about media personality Pete Hegseth.
