Representative Eric Swalwell, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 14th district since 2013, has recently shared several posts on his official X account commenting on political and social issues.

Two days later, he criticized what he perceives as hypocrisy within a political party regarding religious principles by quoting scripture: “It’s amazing to me that the party that thinks they own the faith mantle discard Ezekiel’s ‘The son shall not suffer for the sins of the father, nor the father suffer for the sins of the son.’ Losers. https://t.co/1VLcHm8Ket” (December 12, 2025). On December 13, 2025, he wrote about former President Donald Trump and public health concerns: “Trump didn’t bring down costs. But he brought back Measles! https://t.co/KycuZzoXCn”.
Eric Swalwell has served in Congress since defeating Pete Stark in 2013. Born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and currently residing in Livermore, Swalwell is an alumnus of the University of Maryland, College Park (BA) and holds a JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
