Eric Swalwell, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 14th district since 2013, recently shared his thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. Born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and now residing in Livermore, Swalwell holds degrees from the University of Maryland.

On June 2, 2025, Swalwell tweeted: “LOL. I don’t know what this Fox News lady ate for lunch, but she’s talking about what I had.” The post humorously comments on a segment aired by Fox News.

Later that day, he posted another tweet questioning the identity of an individual with the handle @bamabeers: “Who is this guy @bamabeers?”

In a subsequent tweet at 18:14 UTC on the same day, Swalwell addressed former President Donald Trump’s stance on international agreements: “I love that Trump is going copy + paste on Obama’s Iran nuclear deal. He added context to his statement by noting that Trump had initially withdrawn from the agreement during his first term.
