Representative Eric Swalwell, who serves California’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets addressing a recent incident involving an ICE agent and the death of Renee Good.
On January 10, 2026, Swalwell shared a brief message: “Swalwell https://t.co/xJZ21AmSMu”.
The following day, on January 11, 2026, he commented directly on the incident: “We saw Renee Good, a mother of three children, get murdered by an ICE agent with our own eyes. If you’re squinting to justify it, you’re not confused—you’re condoning it. https://t.co/Vqe8vrcicf”.
Later that same day, Swalwell posted another tweet: “She has. Got to. GO https://t.co/8IwqxfHgYI”.
Eric Swalwell has represented California’s 14th District since 2013 after succeeding Pete Stark. He was born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and currently resides in Livermore. Swalwell earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003 and received his law degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2006.
