Rep. Eric Swalwell, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 14th district since 2013, posted several updates on his social media account between January 11 and January 12, 2026.

On January 11, Swalwell expressed appreciation for a fellow lawmaker’s efforts, writing: “Agree! Thank you, Senator, for your leadership on this.”

Later that day, he commented on a sports event with the post: “The good guys won today #BangBangNinerGang” (January 12).

In another message posted early on January 12, Swalwell addressed international affairs by stating: “Swalwell supports Iran Protests”.

Eric Swalwell has represented California’s 14th District in Congress since replacing Pete Stark in 2013. He was born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and currently resides in Livermore. Swalwell holds degrees from the University of Maryland—earning a BA in 2003 and a JD in 2006.
