Rep. Eric Swalwell, who represents California’s 14th district in the U.S. Congress, made several remarks on his Twitter account regarding former President Donald Trump and issues related to Jeffrey Epstein over a two-day period.

On July 28, 2025, Swalwell posted: “He could be a Trump kid! https://t.co/D3W6ZTXGUF”. Later that same day, he wrote: “Have we considered Trump won’t release the Epstein Files because he fears he’s not mentioned enough? https://t.co/jNArvkyboL”.

The following day, July 29, 2025, Swalwell continued with another post stating: “Trump was cool with the sex-trafficking. NOT cool with the employee-poaching. Got it! https://t.co/LTmJP7KkpC”.

Eric Swalwell has served in Congress since 2013 after replacing Pete Stark as representative for California’s 14th district. Born in Sac City, Iowa in 1980 and currently residing in Livermore, Swalwell holds both a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park (2003), and a JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (2006).
