On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Foothill High School standouts Matt Sugden and Nathan Shinn’s current college team, the San Francisco State Gators, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Chico State Wildcats.

The game took place at Maloney Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Gators’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Fiscalini Field against Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes.
