On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Amador Valley High School standout Griffin Myers’ current college team, the Washington State Cougars, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UCLA Bruins.
The game took place at Whataburger Field. This was their first matchup against the Bruins this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. at Chapman Field against Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.
