On Friday, Feb. 28, former Livermore High School standout Alizabeth Ruiz’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the San Francisco State Gators.

The game took place at SFSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Gators this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at SFSU Softball Field against San Francisco State Gators.
