On Friday, March 7, former Amador Valley High School standout Oliver de la Torre’s current college team, the California Golden Bears, won 14-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Duke Blue Devils.

The game took place at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. This was their first matchup against the Blue Devils this season.

The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at Durham Bulls Athletic Park against Duke Blue Devils.
