On Saturday, March 22, former Livermore High School standout Alizabeth Ruiz’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters.

The game took place at CSUSM Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Otters this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at Bear River Recreation Center against Humboldt State Lumberjacks.
