Launched on June 12, the City of Martinez Outdoor program gives merchants the opportunity to provide outdoor dining and shopping experiences for their customers, while facilitating the physical distancing of patrons to comply with the current County Health Order.

By allowing businesses to use portions of City sidewalks, streets, and/or public and private parking lots during specified days and times to spread out their dining and retail services, the Program aims to give a boost to Martinez business owners.

The City is pleased to announce the following details for the 20th week of this economic recovery initiative, beginning on Thursday, October 29th:

Businesses in Downtown with an approved Outdoor Dining/Retail Display City Permit: Bar Cava, Barrelista, Copper Skillet, Del Cielo, Five Suns, Lavender Moon Interiors, Mighty Market, Lemongrass, Nu Rays, Roxx on Main, Taco Daddy, Troy Greek Cuisine, and Whiskey Lane

Businesses outside of Downtown with an approved Outdoor Dining/Retail Display City Permit: Cue & Brew

Businesses located in Downtown wishing to participate in the Outdoor Downtown Program can submit a no-fee Application here. For Downtown Program Application questions, please contact zseal@cityofmartinez.org.

Businesses located outside of Downtown wishing to participate in the Outdoor Program on private property can submit a no-fee Application here. For Private Property Application questions, please contact mkavanaugh-lynch@cityofmartinez.org.

In addition to outdoor seating and retail, the City of Martinez has created 26 downtown curbside pickup spaces in 16 locations. These 20-minute pickup spaces make it easy and convenient for residents and visitors to pick up to-go food and retail goods from our downtown businesses. Important Outdoor Downtown Program Reminders:
