City of Walnut Creek recently issued the following announcement.

The Garden Wizards plan once a month meetings, including a series of presentations on such topics as Vegetable Gardening and Growing Plants from Seed. The group is also hoping to have an annual plant sale. The leader, Jane West, has been gardening for 30 years and likes to grow plants that appear healthy and happy during the “demanding” Walnut Creek Spring - Fall. She is constantly experimenting with different plants to see how they respond to the variable sun and shade in her garden.
