Eric Swalwell, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 14th District since 2013, has recently shared his views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. Born in Sac City, Iowa, and currently residing in Livermore, Swalwell holds a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park and a JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

On March 25, 2025, Swalwell addressed the alarming statistic that "41% of us will hear" the phrase "I’m sorry, you have cancer" from a doctor at some point in our lives. He questioned why prominent figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump are making it more difficult for individuals or their loved ones to combat this disease. “I’m sorry, you have cancer.”

In another tweet posted on March 26, 2025, Swalwell made an indirect reference to an unnamed individual with the words: "Bro, you nearly killed all of them. Just resign." The tweet suggests criticism and urges resignation without specifying further details. Bro, you nearly killed all of them.

Following shortly after on the same day, Swalwell commented on overconfidence with a brief statement: "No one who says 'I know exactly what I’m doing' knows exactly what they’re doing." This message implies skepticism towards those who claim certainty in their actions or decisions. No one who says “I know exactly what I’m doing” knows exactly what they’re doing.
