Representative Eric Swalwell from California’s 14th district recently shared a series of tweets addressing various national and international concerns. Known for his proactive stance on cybersecurity and public health, Swalwell's remarks reflect his dedication to issues affecting not only America but also its relationship with neighboring countries.

On March 27, 2025, Swalwell emphasized the importance of cybersecurity, linking national security with digital safety measures: "We are more vulnerable than ever to a cyber attack. Cybersecurity is national security. We must continue to invest in CISA’s workforce, strengthen our defenses against cyberattacks, and remain the leaders of AI into the future."

Later the same day, Swalwell highlighted concerns regarding the treatment of Canadian visitors and its potential economic impacts: "This is insane. We are treating our Canadian neighbors like absolute shit. And every town these tourists would have visited will suffer."

In another post on March 27, 2025, he expressed his discontent over reductions in healthcare defenses during a critical period of health threats: "Gutting our nation’s health defenses in the middle of a measles outbreak and a growing bird flu threat won’t make America healthier—it’ll make us sicker and less prepared. This isn’t leadership. It’s sabotage."
