Rep. Eric Swalwell, serving in the U.S. Congress representing California's 14th District, recently expressed concerns on social media regarding allegations and political dynamics involving fellow figures. On April 20, Swalwell commented on a situation involving Hegseth, seemingly alluding to the leaking of confidential information.

In the April 20 post, Swalwell stated, "Hegseth should just tell us how many chat rooms he was leaking confidential information to. Let’s just get to the bottom of this now instead of it leaking out over the next few months." This statement suggests an eagerness to uncover the truth behind these allegations without prolonged speculation.

On April 21, Swalwell shared his thoughts on a fellow representative, Brandon Gill. He wrote, "Oh shit. Pretend @RepBrandonGill just got called out. First, I don’t think Gill is a real congressman. I’ve never seen him. Just on X. Second, Gill is absolutely not forcing an impeachment vote. Even though he can. WEAK!" The tweet reflects skepticism about Gill's authenticity as a congressman and critiques his approach to leveraging an impeachment vote.

Later the same day, Swalwell posted a brief message directed towards the Houston Warriors, simply stating, "Night night, Houston @warriors".

Eric Swalwell, 42, has been representing California's 14th District since 2013. Born in Sac City, Iowa, he now resides in Livermore. He holds a BA from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a JD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
