Eric Swalwell, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 14th district since 2013, has been vocal on social media about various issues. On March 20, 2025, he raised concerns through a series of tweets addressing topics ranging from historical integrity to social security and national security.

In his first tweet of the day, Swalwell questioned the potential actions of the Anti-Defamation League regarding historical revisionism. He posed a challenge by asking "Deleting the Holocaust. Will ADL weigh-in? Are they willing to stand up against Elon Musk and Donald Trump?"

Later that day, Swalwell turned his attention to social welfare issues affecting his constituents in California's 14th district. He criticized recent administrative changes by stating "Social Security Administration is making it harder for over 104,800 people in #CA14 to get the help they need. There’s nothing efficient about putting up unnecessary barriers for thousands of hardworking Americans."

In his final tweet of the day, Swalwell addressed national security concerns involving Elon Musk's influence within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He expressed his stance with fellow Democrats on the committee by tweeting "This week I joined my fellow House Democrats on the Homeland Security Committee to demand answers on Elon Musk’s shadow operation inside DHS. His unqualified lackeys are purging civil servants, seizing sensitive data, and gutting programs that keep Americans safe."
